Today I am grateful for:
The joy of walking without my head phones. Though a tad strange, I managed to get into the groove
The thoughts of a journey to cold climes
R who fills me with love and peace
Reading Psalm 91
The daily meditation in Our Daily Bread which nourishes and invigorates me
Scott's blog which always strengthens me
The lovely piece on Temptation by Awareness and the message it conveyed
Attempting to work and giving up but never totally restraining
The season of Lent which is an awareness into the interior landscape
The joy of sight, sound and smell
Being able to write
Hi there..I'm Regina. This is a nice post here and I like the subject of gratitude.
ReplyDeleteThis reminded me of Luke, when Jesus spoke(to Simon) of the woman with the perfume,- " he who is forgiven little, loves little.”..also the Beatitudes in Mt. 5: 3, 4 & 6- when an individual comes empty- spiritually, he brings nothing, sorrowful-yet hungering and thirsting for righteousness). So I think gratitude must flow (out of) true forgiveness. My thoughts.
Regards, Regina
Dear KP:
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by and leaving a thought. Gratitude must flow anyway with or without forgiveness for in that you glorify God.
Joy always,
Susan
