09 April 2013

I have a long list today. Let me see where this leads.

* For the first round of interview which was super duper. I'm grateful and happy.
* For the enjoyable walk to the Post-office a few minutes ago.
* For S who makes my life easier.
* For the letters and cards that I received last week.
* For G who called out my name as I walking to the PO today. I was happy to hear my name being called out in a still unfamiliar campus.
* For the lovely breeze that cooled me while I was cooking this morning.
* For the energy and vitality of CBC that keeps me engaged.
* For an unexpected chat with S and R from Mumbai
* For the joys and smiles
* For the hugs and kisses

Post-office

For some time now, I was lamenting that there was no post-office in our Campus. I desperately wanted at least an extension counter of the PO to be opened. Imagine my joy when my husband told me that an PO extension counter has been opened in our campus.

Small things but I'm so grateful that it has finally materialised.

Today's gratitude

Today I am thankful for the people whose concern and care sweeps me off my feet. I am grateful for:

~ Our regular auto-rickshaw driver who is so caring that he takes extra effort to see that each detail is in place. Of course, his consistent questions are bit irritating but to know that he cares gives us a joyous feeling

~ The people in the restaurant where we eat regularly are so mindful of us that they see to it that everything is in place for us.

~ The students who toiled effortlessly for the success of the conference. It was a delight to see them move here and there tirelessly.

33

Another year
all grown up and all of 33
can't be more thankful
for the wholesome and holesome 32 years
life goes on
richer and sweeter
by his grace
and his gaze
for he has made me
more than a conqueror

Oh yes! The 19th came and how!

Our long awaited presentation got over today. I am quite happy that it went on well. I would have loved it if it was more challenging but nevertheless the experience was lovely.

I am more than thankful that confidence and a smile are always my allies.

Wow and whoa!

The meal at the wee Italian place was wonderful. Tiramisu finally!

My gratitude today:

* Today my sister turned 26 and I'm grateful that she had a lovely evening with friends and family

* I managed to eat a lot and also decide that from tomorrow I shall return to the old system of cutting down on food

* For the warm feeling that passed through me when I thought about the bygone year

* For knowing that I am fearfully and wonderfully made

Thanks for standing by me

November to August gave me sleepless nights and unstable emotional fluctuations. I sailed through them but I could not have if some of these people weren't there. Mind you, this support was not only from friends whom I knew well but they were also from my many online friends who in spite of not having met me took time for me. These lovely people spent their most precious asset on me - TIME. I am so glad that the sacred enabled me to know these people both real time and online. They gave me the courage to go on, stand up and above all -BELIEVE in myself.

The dear ones who  went through the  path with me. I wouldn't know  how I would have managed without you:
Veena
Seema
Valli
Ann
Brother Francline
My sister Lydi
Johnson

My online friends who were strangers to me but at the same time knew how to comfort, sustain and give courage:
Andrea
Shahid
