A lesson learnt

Today I learnt a very valuable lesson in my life and I'm grateful for that. Sometimes, one wonders . . .

Today's gratitude

Today I am thankful for the people whose concern and care sweeps me off my feet. I am grateful for:

~ Our regular auto-rickshaw driver who is so caring that he takes extra effort to see that each detail is in place. Of course, his consistent questions are bit irritating but to know that he cares gives us a joyous feeling

~ The people in the restaurant where we eat regularly are so mindful of us that they see to it that everything is in place for us.

~ The students who toiled effortlessly for the success of the conference. It was a delight to see them move here and there tirelessly.

Today it's a year since I last spoke to someone very close to me. I am thankful that I met that wonderful person in my life - I am thankful for the music, the thoughts and the conversations. You are always on my mind.

And, I am thankful for the people who were part of my life yesterday and today. I don't know what tomorrow holds but I am grateful for today.
