1st August, 2011

Seven months have passed by. The first half of this year has been quite eventful: thesis submission, chicken-pox, my wedding and moving into a new house. Well, I cannot be more thankful for the seven months which have gone by. In spite of small desires in my heart which remain unfulfilled, I am glad for the first half of this year.

Joy always :)

A month since I got married. It has been beautiful and promising.

Grateful and happy.

Standing a few minutes from 20th Feb 2010

Today I am grateful for:

The joy of walking without my head phones. Though a tad strange, I managed to get into the groove

The thoughts of a journey to cold climes

R who fills me with love and peace

Reading Psalm 91

The daily meditation in Our Daily Bread which nourishes and invigorates me

Scott's blog which always strengthens me

The lovely piece on Temptation by Awareness and the message it conveyed

Attempting to work and giving up but never totally restraining

The season of Lent which is an awareness into the interior landscape

The joy of sight, sound and smell

Being able to write

Overwhelmed beyond my capacity and grateful too

Those wishes, those calls, those messages: They were all indeed a remainder of how thoughtful people are. How much ever I seem to lose hope, I have no reason to.

I am so so so grateful for all of them and to all of them who made my 20s memorable and as I ushered the 30s in, made sure that they gave me the hope, wishes, prayers and joy to move on confidently forward.

Words sure are not sufficient to express my thankfulness (read gratefulness) to my god who has surrounded me with lovely beings.
